The CMFL Department is a very successful department, staffed with excellent linguists and can pride itself of the following:

Every student learns either French or Spanish to KS3 & then can opt to take it at KS4 & 5. The majority continue to KS4 in view of University entry requirements
Students take the Edexcel Examinations and our results are well above National Average
In every lesson we use our own Intranet website with a variety of foreign language links
Our students belong to allocated French or Spanish Basket Ball or Handball teams & are rewarded on a weekly basis for positive contributions to lessons
Students are invited to e-mail the Department as often as they wish in order to contribute to the life of the Department
We offer Clubs in Turkish, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Polish & Gujarati
We have international links with global schools
