CPD for Schools
With curriculum changes across all Key Stages, Valentines High School are developing Subject Network Groups to help support curriculum leaders, responsibility holders and classroom practitioners from across our Teaching School Alliance, Redbridge and beyond across a wide variety of subjects. Hub meetings provide a platform where teachers can connect and not only share ideas but also discuss strategies implemented in different schools to improve attainment, progress and the development of new curricula.
We are very excited to announce that we have joined forces with Seven Kings High School and NELTA to combine existing hubs across the alliances to increase participation and to reduce the commitment on schools which belong to more than one alliance.
Hubs are free and anybody can attend, not just schools within our alliances. All we ask, is for a commitment from you to attend to make these hubs even more successful.
Please email Erafana Ali for further details of online Hubs taking place, this Academic Year: firstname.lastname@example.org
Other Professional Development Programmes
We have a number of professional development programmes on offer this year ranging from courses on Sixth Form leadership, Middle Leaders, More-able provision and KS5 achievement. We hope you will consider engaging our services to provide high quality CPDL and school to school support based on strategies of proven effectiveness. If you would like to visit VHS, we would be delighted to host you. We can arrange for you to observe our practice and speak to our staff on whole school issues or on subject specific areas.
