Governors

The Education Committee is responsible for appointing Local Authority Governors.

All Governors serve a four-year term and can be contacted through the school. Any correspondence addressed to them will be promptly forwarded.

Parent Governors must have a child enrolled at the school at the time of their election and are elected by the parents of current students. Parent Governors serve a four-year term and are not required to step down if their child leaves the school during this period.

The Staff Governor is elected by school staff and nominees may come from either teaching or non-teaching staff. They also serve a four-year term but will cease being a Staff Governor should they leave the school during this period.
