Curriculum Intent for Modern Foreign Languages
Through the continued improvement of their communication skills, students will develop the knowledge and skills required through the exploration of French and Spanish culture, literacy and way of life, giving them a detailed understanding and appreciation of different cultures. This will inspire student’s curiosity and fascination about the world, its people and the understanding of unfamiliar and diverse places.
This intent to enable students to develop into well rounded global citizens who are open minded and happy to learn about the French and Spanish culture will be delivered through the study of and exposure to:
