  • Thursday 25 February 2021 Year 12 Champions VHS is delighted to share that three of our most promising Year 12 Philosophers have won the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics’ video competition at the University of Oxford. Zarmina, Sophie and Kiana created a virtual debate and discussed the issue of responsibility surrounding Covid-19, please watch the winning video below. As a prize, they have been invited to take part in Oxford's Responsibility and Ethics school day  and will be debating against the 3 other most promising school entries.
  • Wednesday 10 February 2021 Year 9 Options Evening - 4th March 2021 Mrs Ball will be presenting to students and parents via Microsoft Teams at 6pm on Thursday 4th March. Students will receive and invitation via Microsoft teams. 
  • Friday 5 February 2021 Year 12 Charity Challenge VHS Year 12 students are currently competing in the 'Charity Challenge'. Each form group has selected a different charity and are competing to raise as much money and awareness as possible via virtual means. The purpose of the Charity Challenge is not just to give back to those in need, but to teach our students that even when they feel helpless, one action can make a difference. They can use their time in lockdown to spread hope and kindness. They have some fantastic ideas, one form is completing a marathon, others are leading a virtual bake-off, and all of them are making great use of social media.
