Online Safety Guidance for Parents and Carers
Keeping Your Child Safe Online
At Valentines High School, we are committed to ensuring our students stay safe in the digital world. With young people spending more time online whether for learning, socialising, or entertainment it is vital that they develop the skills and awareness to navigate the internet safely and responsibly.
We are proud to have been awarded the National Online Safety Certification, which reflects our dedication to providing high-quality online safety education for students, staff, and parents.
To further support families, we offer access to a dedicated online safety platform, where parents can find expert advice and practical guidance on protecting their children online.
Our Online Safety Platform Covers:
- Social media safety and privacy settings
- Identifying and responding to online risks
- Setting up parental controls and monitoring activity
- Cyberbullying awareness and prevention
